Years ago, when Jen Naught and Eben Horton opened their new gallery and glass blowing studio, The Glass Station, I was thrilled be one of their first exhibitors. The Glass Float Project was started by Eben, who began hiding glass floats around Block Island (off the coast of Rhode Island) for people to find. As part of the exhibit, I created a float logo for them and printed several textiles. This GFP pillow is printed on periwinkle blue linen with charcoal grey ink.
The pillow measures 18" square, with an invisible zipper and synthetic down insert.

Rhode Island's official state shell is the quahog! A quahog is a hard shelled, bivalve mollusk and the clams are further distinguished by size; Little Necks are the smallest (about 1" thick, you can slurp those right down), Cherrystones, and Chowders are the largest. The clams thrive in the estuaries and mud flats along coastal Rhode Island and Narragansett Bay. In summer we tread them out of the sand with our toes, though digging with hand rakes is popular too.
Our short sleeved, I DIG QUAHOGS t-shirts are hand printed with white ink on blue jean colored, 100% cotton, pigment dyed, Comfort Color t-shirts. The t-shirts are pre-shrunk and run true to size. The print measures approximately 8x4.5 inches and is on the front. Please note that with pigment dyed t-shirts, blemishes may occur due to the dying process.
