The highlight of my summer isn't work related. On August 3rd, I ran the Beach to Beacon 10k in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. I started running in March and though having been athletic over the years, I was never a runner on purpose. It seemed like a fun and a personal challenge, and I've often admired other runners. What I didn't anticipate is how much I love it, how much it's change my life and outlook. I sleep better, feel better and love feeling completely physically exhausted. I can't wait to run again next year and improve on my time. But until then, I better get back to work. Christmas is coming!
